# Rationara > Rationara is a done-for-you bookkeeping and accounting service built for nonprofits and associations. Our team categorizes every transaction, tracks restricted funds and grants, reconciles your accounts, and closes your books every month — on software we built for exactly this work. Rationara (https://rationara.com) is a done-for-you bookkeeping and accounting **service** for nonprofits and associations in the United States, operated by ConnectedView, LLC and delivered by a human bookkeeping team on Rationara's own fund-accounting platform. Clients do not buy or learn accounting software; they use a plain-language client portal and answer occasional questions from their bookkeeper. Key facts: - Who it's for: nonprofits and associations (501(c) organizations) — executive directors, treasurers, boards. - What's delivered monthly: every transaction categorized (with fund, grant and program class), every bank/credit card account reconciled, a formal checklist-driven month-end close that locks the period, a published report package (statement of activities, balance sheet, budget vs. actual, fund balances), receipts matched and attached (required over $250), and answers to client questions within one business day. - Pricing: two flat monthly plans priced by annual revenue, month to month, no hourly billing. Essential from $100/month; Core from $150/month. Organizations over $1M annual revenue get a custom quote. Catch-up bookkeeping and audit-prep support are quoted separately as one-time projects. - Report timing: reports by the 10th business day (Core) or 20th business day (Essential) of the following month. - Onboarding: guided imports (QuickBooks Online, CSV/XLSX chart of accounts, bank statements, funds, donor-system ledgers, opening balances); a typical four-week onboarding with the first month run in parallel with the old system. - Security: bank connections are read-only; individual logins; full audit log; data is exportable anytime. - Machine-readable copy: every page is published as Markdown at the same URL with `.md` appended — https://rationara.com/pricing.md for https://rationara.com/pricing, and https://rationara.com/index.md for the home page. - Contact: hello@rationara.com — or request a 30-minute call at https://rationara.com/pricing#book. ## Pages - [Home](https://rationara.com) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/index.md): Overview of the service, signs an organization may need it, how it compares to hiring in-house or traditional outsourcing, monthly deliverables, platform capabilities, the client portal and a pricing summary. - [How it works](https://rationara.com/how-it-works) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/how-it-works.md): The five-step monthly workflow — daily bank feeds and receipts, weekly categorization and questions, monthly reconciliation, formal close, and published reports — plus what the client's part is at each step. - [What we handle](https://rationara.com/what-we-handle) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/what-we-handle.md): Fund accounting and restriction releases, grants, donors and pledges, the 20+ report library (financial statements, functional expenses, budget vs. actual, trial balance, general ledger, audit log) and audit controls. - [Use cases](https://rationara.com/use-cases) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/use-cases.md): How the service fits specific organization types, each with a dedicated page: [501(c)(3) charities](https://rationara.com/use-cases/501c3-charities), [Animal rescues & shelters](https://rationara.com/use-cases/animal-rescue), [Churches & religious organizations](https://rationara.com/use-cases/religious-organizations), [Membership associations](https://rationara.com/use-cases/membership-associations), [Trade associations](https://rationara.com/use-cases/trade-associations), [Chambers of commerce](https://rationara.com/use-cases/chambers-of-commerce), [Home builders associations](https://rationara.com/use-cases/home-builders-associations), [Foundations & grantmakers](https://rationara.com/use-cases/foundations), [Youth sports & booster clubs](https://rationara.com/use-cases/youth-sports-booster-clubs), [Sportsmen's clubs](https://rationara.com/use-cases/sportsmens-clubs). - [The portal](https://rationara.com/portal) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/portal.md): The client portal — finance dashboard, bookkeeper questions, expense reporting from a phone, published report packages, vendors/donors/accounts reference, and people management; who gets a login. - [Switching & onboarding](https://rationara.com/switching) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/switching.md): What can be imported directly, the first four weeks of onboarding, catch-up bookkeeping, and what clients are asked to provide. - [Pricing](https://rationara.com/pricing) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/pricing.md): Plans, the fee table by annual revenue band, a feature comparison, FAQ, and the "Book a call" form. ## Legal - [Privacy Policy](https://rationara.com/privacy) · [Markdown](https://rationara.com/privacy.md): What information Rationara collects and accesses, how it is used, shared, secured and retained, privacy requests and California privacy rights.
